If you go to google trend and look at the chart for fiverr, it is on an upward trend. The indicators are telling.

For newbies, it is very hard to get started on Internet marketing. There are just too many steps, so much to learn.  I cannot think of a simpler online money making system as fiverr. It takes 5 minutes to register a free account. It takes 10 minutes to publish a gig (product or service).

Fiverr is a good platform to get started. This is a good place to test market demand for your product and service. It is also useful for lead generation.

Fiverr continue to evolve with new features and functions. Now is the best time to hop in and grow with them.

1.  SEO services. Who doesn’t want their website to be ranked at the top, right? Backlinking services are hot.
2.  Social Media. From setting up fan page to getting more likes
3. Articles. Website owners need fresh articles. If you can write well and fast, there are more work than you can ever cope. If you can write and distribute the articles, it is even better.
4. Logo.  Every business who cares about branding needs a logo. Elsewhere vendors are charging more than a $100 for a good logo design. At $5, it’s a steal
5. Graphic Design. Website owners need headers and  banners.

#1: It is a Marketplace. I don’t like to chase after prospects or cold call. Most of us prefer to create our products rather than spending our time, prospecting for customers. It is wiser to go where the marketplace already exist rather than chasing after the market. Example of market places are Amazon.com and Ebay.com. Fiverr brings the prospects to you Go where the traffic is. At Fiverr, you display your goods prominently and wait for the buyers.

#2: Quick Completion. I don’t like long projects that takes ages to do and never seen to see a completion. Long projects means it take a longer time before you collect your pay cheque. Marathons are too painful to endure.  Fiverr’s gig are fast to do – from 1 minute to 30 minutes. You offer services that are fast to do or ready-made products. Get it done quickly and then you move on to the next order. Instant gratification.
#3: Quick Setup. There is no need to write long sales page or do SEO or set up a website or any special formating.  Anyone can put up a gig in five minutes. You don’t have to be an expert internet marketer to put up a service/product for sales.

#4: You can start from zero cost.There is no cost to join Fiverr. You don’t have to register a company. You don’t need name cards. You don’t have to be  somebody. You don’t have to display your real name or reveal personal particular to the buyers. There is no discrimination.

#5: You can make the first sale in the shortest time, compared to any other online businesses that I know of. Fiverr is the Easiest Way to Make your First Sale.

#6: Sell Information. You can sell information which are readily and freely available on the Internet. Create it once and sell it over and over again. Just spend some time to compile the questions and answers in forums and package it. People buy your reports because they don’t have the time or too lazy to trawl through tons of information. You save people time by organizing and packaging the information neatly.

#7: Work Anytime. Your time is flexible. You can make a full-time income by working on a full day just like any other job. You can earn from $5 to $20 per hour. If you are willing to spend 8 hours a day like any other jobs, you can earn enough to feed your family and make a decent living. Buyers do not know your email. ou can hide your face, hide your name, hide your address and still you can do business. You can remain anonymous and still can make money. It is perfect for those who don’t like to meet people, those who are extremely shy, those who are home bound, and those who want to protect their privacy. It fits those who are cave people who don’t like to venture out of their house. It is the perfect job for the disabled and for the deaf. Whether you are very young or very old, unemployed, retired, stay at home mom or dad, you can do this work.
#11: Automated System. The system takes care of your income. The buyers paid first before you start work. No more chasing after customers for payment. No need to issue invoice or receipt.
#12: Customers Feedback. Your customers will post feedback if you do your job well or if your service sucks. Good feedbacks bring more business. From what I gathered from my Facebook friends, it seems most people hate their  work. They suffer the Monday Blues. They cannot wait for Friday (TGIF) to come. Their happiest time is after 5pm. Walking out of the office is like getting out of jail and breathing fresh air of freedom.

Some people advocated that you should NOT get a job. Here’s why:

You only get paid when you work. So if you are dependent on your job to live, then work until the day you die. Is this what you really want? Is this freedom? Do you believe that it is possible to get paid when you are not working, while you are eating, playing, sleeping and talking to your plants? I believe so. While I was crafting this post, someone ordered my ebook and I got paid. On some days, I didn’t feel like doing anything and still I got paid when people ordered my stuff. When you do Internet Marketing,  this become possible.

The longer you stay, the less value you have. You become more expensive as an employee. Someday, your boss will replace you with someone younger, cheaper and can work faster. Seniority is not equal to more pay.  Every day you repeat the same experience and this experience will become obsolete one day. Would you rather spend your time to learn a skill that is evergreen, such as learning how to build a passive income online?

We are so conditioned to work for others than when we become our own boss, we don’t know what to do. That’s what happened to me. I  prefer to work because I am the laziest boss. Left on my own, I probably sleep and surf the net more than doing the actual work. We go to work and wait for the boss to tell us what to do. We are domesticated.

If they pay you $2K, they expect you to earn $12K, or six times the amount, to pay for the administration and the CEO’s pay. They will squeeze as much brain juice from you while paying you the least possible. You will never get rich working for other other. You are building their dreams, not your own dream. You only get paid a fraction of the real value you generate.

A job is not necessarily the most secured way to support yourself. Don’t depend on one job alone for your survival. While you work, create a 2nd income stream part time.

Boss means master. If you can face your boss every day, good for you. You want to take leave? Ask permission. You want more pay? You have to beg for it by writing a thesis to justify for it.

If you don’t like the policy, you whine about it. It’s someone’s fault. Not yours. Every company has its culture. Dress like them. Think like them. Want to be circle in a square? It breeds obedience instead of challenging the status quo. You don’t have the freedom to call your boss a jerk without getting fired. So you stay low, toe the line, and follow orders. Be a good slave.

I love my job, but one day my boss went mad and bend on making our existence a misery. Then there was another one who wants me to take over his job without taking over his pay.  When you work for yourself, you decide your own pay without having to ask anyone for permission. If your customers don’t pay you your price, you move on to the next customer.

Wise people will tell you to do what you love. If you can’t, love what you do.

Do Not Work

Work is anything that you are compelled to do. By its very nature, it is undesirable.

Work kills. The Japanese have a term “Karoshi”, which means death from overwork. That’s the most dramatic form of how work can kill. But it can also kill you in more subtle ways. If you work, then day by day, bit by bit, your soul is chipped away, disintegrating until there’s nothing left. A rock has been ground into sand and dust.

There’s a common misconception that work is necessary. You will meet people working at miserable jobs. They tell you they are “making a living”. No, they’re not. They’re dying, frittering away their fast-extinguishing lives doing things which are, at best, meaningless and, at worst, harmful.

People will tell you that work ennobles you, that work lends you a certain dignity. Work makes you free. The slogan “Arbeit macht frei” was placed at the entrances to a number of Nazi concentration camps. Utter nonsense.

Do not waste the vast majority of your life doing something you hate so that you can spend the small remainder sliver of your life in modest comfort. You may never reach that end anyway.

Resist the temptation to get a job. Instead, play. Find something you enjoy doing. Do it. Over and over again. You will become good at it for two reasons: you like it, and you do it often. Soon, that will have value in itself.

Do you believe you deserve a better deal in life? Do you believe in your potential and that you are more powerful than you think but the present condition does not allow you to manifest your greatness?

Is the voice in  your heart calling you to take the bold leap of faith out of the cage into a new wild world of adventure?  Helen Keller said, “Life is an adventure or nothing”

There are alternatives to a day-job. There are other means to generate income, even while remaining joyfully jobless. Instead of asking, “How can I make more money?” ask, “How can I add value and meaning to people’s lives through my service?”

The easiest way is to start your own business. The cheapest way is to start an online business.
